Membership fees are due annually. You pay the full annual fee for each membership year. There is no prorating and no refund for a partial year.

These are the terms that govern membership and the annual fee. They are set out in full so that nothing about your membership comes as a surprise.
The annual fee
Membership fees are due annually. You pay the full annual fee for each membership year. There is no prorating and no refund for a partial year.
Membership fees are paid by credit card. In limited circumstances, payment by Interac may be permitted at the discretion of Celebrating Life Ministries.
Your annual payment date is set by the exact date on which you submit the membership agreement form. It is your responsibility to record that date. Payments are withdrawn automatically on the same calendar day each year, according to the schedule you selected.
Membership renews annually. Renewal fees are processed as automatic recurring charges to the credit card on file for each new membership year, unless you give written notice of cancellation in advance of the renewal date.
Members are notified by email of any increase or change in membership fees before those changes take effect.
Your responsibilities
You are solely responsible for keeping your payment information accurate and current. Notify us in writing of any required updates, including expired cards, and provide the new details. Celebrating Life Ministries is not responsible for advising you of outdated, expired or inactive payment information.
To change your payment schedule, email support@celebratinglifeministries.ca. You may move from monthly to annual, or annual to monthly. The monthly option becomes available at the beginning of your second year; the first year is always paid in full.
All correspondence about membership is sent to the email address you provide at the time of payment. Keep your contact information current by submitting the Change of Status form when anything changes.
Failure to respond promptly to CLM communications may result in termination of membership and revocation of your provincial registration number. We assume no responsibility for emails that go unread, unopened or unanswered.
Ending membership
You may cancel at any time by giving written notice. If you have paid the annual fee in full, no portion is refunded for cancelling before the end of your term. If you are on the monthly option, you remain responsible for the remaining unpaid months of the current annual term, and an invoice for the balance will be issued and is payable in full on your departure.
Your membership and your registration number are terminated immediately if you unlink or remove your credit card without notifying us in advance, or if a payment fails and is not promptly remedied.
When membership ends, your registration as a Marriage Officiant is cancelled with the Office of the Registrar General and you are no longer authorized to perform marriages in Ontario. This is true of every governing body, not only ours.
